Greetings, I'm Michelle Friedland, MSW, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering therapy services in Florida, Nevada, and internationally. I focus on assisting individuals in improving relationships, refining communication skills, and fostering self-empowerment through a deeper understanding of themselves. My counseling approach emphasizes warmth, engagement, and collaboration, with a focus on authenticity, humor, and unvarnished truthfulness to facilitate positive transformation. I place a high value on recognizing and nurturing my clients' strengths, encouraging personal growth, and providing diverse perspectives on their life experiences.
My Approach to Therapy is adaptable and comprehensive to meet the needs of the client. As a therapist, I employ a range of methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative therapy techniques. FAQS
This is different for everyone and cannot be predicted nor guaranteed! I am happy to offer short-term, limited sessions, which can be both a cost-effective and evidenced-based way to improve symptoms and achieve relief. I’m also happy to work with people who want a more open-ended approach with a therapist who can be a trusted confidant for ongoing counseling.
It depends! I recommend at least starting weekly so that we can establish a good working relationship, but this is not a requirement so long as you’re not in serious distress that would require a higher level of support.
My full fee is $200 per 60 minute appointment. I do see people on a sliding scale and am happy to speak with you about your individual situation. Please see my No Surprises Act page for more information as well.
